Customizing and personalizing items is a way for fans to show their support. Customers can tell us what text or name they want to see on these customized products (including jerseys) by simply entering the text in the box indicated. All customizations will not be accepted just because the customer has the ability to enter the desired text in the box and can complete their order online. Any customization order may be rejected or cancelled for any reason. This includes messages that are considered offensive or inappropriate. In homage of the original three white stripes D.C. United had on the chest of its jerseys, the Traditional D.C. United kit is black and red. The unique kit includes the transfer “Unite the District” at the Jock Tag, and the transfer “D.C. United” at the back neck. D.C. United, a founding member of MLS, has the Founding Club symbol of nine stars in silver. It is found only on the authentic jerseys of these nine clubs.
